Purdue Broad Ripple

Six of our PPHS North wrestlers were able to travel to George Washington HS this week to participate in a clinic scheduled for three days. The first day our wrestlers were introduced to several expert coaches and clinicians present at the location. Over sixty high school wrestlers were there and were split into two groups: one composed of beginners who worked on basic techniques such as stances, movement in a neutral position, and head position; while the other group was made up of more advanced wrestlers who worked on take-downs. Although this is the off-season for our wrestlers, our student-athletes are committed to their sport and understand the importance of developing their skills however they can.
